In my line of work as a secret agent, it is normal to work solo. Some agents are part of permanent teams but in general, we are assigned missions where we work alone.
Recently I was partnered with a new agent though, for a small undercover surveillance mission. This is a great way for more experienced agents to train and review newer recruits.
The mission itself was pretty straightforward. I was going to be set up on a freeway overpass pretending to have a stalled car and waiting for a tow truck. I would have my Moto E5 Plus phone with me though and would actually be secretly taking photos of the warehouse just off the freeway. We were sure the warehouse was being used to smuggle drugs and I needed to get a few photos of the people and trucks visiting the location.
As a backup, the new agent was posing as a homeless man, living under the freeway overpass. The plan was that if anything went wrong, I would drop my Moto E5 Plus phone to him so we would have the photos no matter what.
With that drop in mind, we needed to select the strongest and most protective phone case possible. There are lots of premium options for Moto E5 Plus / Moto E5 Supra phones but we went with the rugged IRON ARMOR2 case and holder.
The Moto E5 Plus / Moto E5 Supra case comes with strong shockproof protection and a rugged dual layer construction. It has both a hybrid thermoplastic inner skin and an outer durable polycarbonate frame with kickstand. There is even a raised bezel for extra screen protection. Together, these features help the phone withstand drops from up to 2 meters.
When considering the Moto E5 Plus / Moto E5 Supra case, I was especially impressed that it had been military grade standard drop tested. As an added bonus, the case comes with a tempered glass screen protector and a holster with swivel belt clip included.
The mission itself went relatively smooth. I set up on the freeway overpass and used my Moto E5 Plus phone to get a bunch of great surveillance images. After about an hour, a security guard from the warehouse drove up to see what I was doing. It was at this point that I dropped my phone to my partner below - just in case.
Thankfully, he was able to grab the Moto E5 Plus without it hitting the ground. I was still glad that we went with the super tough IRON ARMOR2 case though. If my partner had missed the drop, I know the case would have still protected the phone well.
The Moto E5 Plus / Moto E5 Supra case came with 3 colors to choose from but we had selected the easy to hide black version. Once I dropped the phone, my partner quickly hid it in his coat and the security guard up on the freeway overpass didn’t notice anything.
With the case, all buttons and ports on the Moto E5 Plus are still easily accessible. It is also still fingerprint unlock compatible. This meant that by the time the security guard gave up on questioning me and called a tow truck himself, my partner had already unlocked the phone, backed it up to a harddrive, and emailed everything to headquarters.
