When you are a secret agent, sometimes a mission will find you enjoying a martini at the bar of a Monaco casino, scoping out a target at the blackjack table. Plenty of times though, a mission will call for something a lot more rugged. I have spent many a mission deep in the jungle, trekking through unbearably hot desert sand, or battling the crowded streets of a third-world slum.
This week I had one of those tough, down in the mud, rough missions. It wasn’t fun but I swore an oath and when duty calls, you answer. Thankfully, I had just gotten my new NAUTICAL2 case for my Galaxy S10 phone. Without it, this mission would likely have been a complete fail.
Exact mission location details are highly classified but let’s just say I found myself knee-high in muddy water tracking the trail of a notorious criminal group. They were using this remote jungle as a smuggling route for arms and my mission was to get evidence of the activity. With video or photo proof, our agency hoped to convince the local government to OK a full covert military attack.
Back to the muddy water… I had been tracking the group for hours at this point and had finally spotted the ringleader. I pulled out my phone as quick as possible but with the humidity and slimy swamp water, it slipped right from my grasp. The NAUTICAL case’s waterproof feature saved the day though. The waterproof casing kept my phone dry and clean, even in the swamp water.
For a minute I was worried though. I knew the case would keep the phone dry but on the way down I saw the phone’s back camera smack hard on a tree stump. Pulling it from the water, I saw that the NAUTICAL saved me again. With the camera protection built into the case, there wasn’t even a scratch on the camera lens.
Getting back to business, I wiped off the phone and got all the evidence I needed. The ringleader was in clear view of multiple crates of military grade weapons and I even got some photos of the shipment of drugs they were moving as well. Heading back to civilization, I knew we had what we needed to bring them down.
After a quick briefing back at headquarters, I decided I could really take that martini about now.
Back in my true element, I slipped on my best suit and headed out to my favorite local place. I, of course, grabbed my phone before heading out - you never know when there will be a last minute, emergency mission. Thankfully, with the NAUTICAL case’s elegant design and transparent back, it fit it just as well with my suit as it did in the jungle.
Here’s to hoping the next mission has me back enjoying the fine dining of Paris and not trekking after a crazed criminal in some remote, desolate corner of the globe. Either way though, I know I wont be heading out again without my trusty NAUTICAL2 case.
