I spend a lot of time on planes, trains, and stuck in safe houses waiting for missions. The movies might make it seem like a spy's life is nonstop action but like any international job, there is a lot of travel time. There is also a lot of time waiting for a new mission or for a target to show up where you are staked-out.
To be frank, between the moments of high-stakes action and adventure, there are many hours of dull boredom.
Thankfully, now-a-days, every spy carries a crucial piece of equipment - a smartphone. It helps us track down suspects with the GPS. It helps us capture audio and video evidence. It protects us by tracking our movements and by allowing us to quickly call for backup.
Besides all that though, my iPhone XS Max smartphone also saves me from “death by boredom” when it comes to long travel days or never-ending stakeouts.
Being such a crucial part of my gear, I really make sure to protect my smartphone. I’ve recently picked up the ARIEL Case and so far I’m loving it.
Before any mission, I now make sure to pop my phone into the ARIEL Case and load the phone with some great spy movies. Spy movies are my guilty pleasure. Sure, most of them are super unrealistic but they are a fun way to pass the time when waiting on a stakeout.
As a woman, I really love the female spy movies. I love how in most movies the characters are able to perfectly balance the rough, aggressive parts of being a spy with the more subtle femininity of a good female spy. I can definitely kick your butt but I can also probably charm my way into the target’s private party.
The glossy mermaid scale design even comes in 3 colors to choose from - orange, blue, or purple. Meanwhile, the built-in enhanced shock absorption protects the phone no matter what situation I find myself in.
In the short time I’ve owned the ARIEL Case, it's already proven itself in two cases of hand-to-hand combat. The scratch resistant back and raised bezel for extra screen protection came in especially handy when a target’s bodyguard spotted me on my last mission. Even after being thrown across a table and landing hard, I was able to pull out my phone and hit the emergency app to call for backup.
While it’s nice to have a strong, protective phone case, the ARIEL comes in handing a lot more for its simple convenience.
The phone case is very well designed with all buttons and ports easily accessible. It’s also face ID unlock compatible and fully supports wireless charging. These features are a lot more important than you’d think. Being able to quickly charge, unlock, or plug in my phone is vital when on a mission. Time is crucial when you are tracking or doing surveillance on a target.
Overall, I’m very happy with the ARIEL Case. It’s a great protective phone case but it’s also beautifully designed. Just because I’m a spy doesn’t mean I want a protective but ugly phone case. Instead, I’m going with the liquid glitter and strong protection of the ARIEL.
