One of the more interesting parts of being a secret agent is learning how to master disguises. We have a whole department at the bureau dedicated to helping agents create their undercover disguises. From fake noses to wigs, they have it all
It’s not just about appearance though. A good disguise also incorporates things like props and behavior change to match your persona. It’s the whole package that works together to fool your target or anyone following you.
One important skill all secret agents must learn is the ability to do a “quick change.” This is a method of completely changing your disguise as quickly as possible. It is often necessary if you are being followed.
I was recently working on practicing my own quick change. I was supposed to switch between a business woman disguise and a teenage student while walking through a public space. Besides planning my disguises, I also decided to put my phone in my new ARIEL flowing liquid glitter case.
The ARIEL case has the perfect look for both disguises. The glossy mermaid scale design is sophisticated enough to work with the business woman disguise. At the same time, the flowing liquid glitter makes the case perfect for the teen girl disguise. There are 3 colors to choose from with the ARIEL case - orange, purple, and blue. I went with the blue to match both outfits.
Using the ARIEL case wasn’t just about matching the disguises though. The case is also super protective. When practicing a quick disguise change, you have to switch clothing as fast as possible. You also have to move your gear from one disguise to the other.
I needed a case that would protect my phone in case I dropped it while quickly switching disguises. I needed to move the phone from the business pantsuit to a school uniform skirt in seconds. Drops were common as we practiced.
To be honest, while practicing the quick change, I probably dropped my phone a half dozen times. Each time I went to pick up my phone, it was fine. Even the disguise department team was impressed.
Besides the design and features, I also just really like the ARIEL case. It is super well built and convenient. It doesn't block any of the phone cameras and it is fully Face ID unlock compatible. It also supports wireless charging. Very importantly, all buttons and ports on the phone are still easily accessible.
Overall, I think the ARIEL case was a great choice for this mission. I could be sure my phone was protected and easy to use. More importantly, my phone would easily match both my disguises. I like the case so much, I’m thinking of buying it in the other two colors. That way I can match it to any of my undercover disguises.
