We were scaling the side of one of the tallest mountains I have ever seen. Nature and beauty were all around us, boasting rocky landscapes, beautiful fauna and flora, and plenty of rock left to scale. As I never leave anywhere without my phone, I, of course, had my phone in my fanny pack. After all, you never know when an emergency may occur where you need to contact the authorities—especially while on an adventure like rock climbing. Luckily for me, my rugged case leaves me with no worries about it getting broken – unless I drop it off the side of the mountain that is.
We were ascending further and further up the mountain, getting further away from the safety of the sweet, sweet ground. My husband and I are huge fans of rock and mountain climbing. And through the many trips, we have taken both my husband and me have both broken our phones. I’m talking about brand new iPhones people! So, over the course of these adventures, my husband and I have learned a thing or two about keeping our belongings safe, hence, the fanny pack.
The sun was setting as we reached the top of the mountain, so we knew we had to hurry before we could no longer see what we were doing. Finally, we reached the top of the mountain, another success for the rock-climbing books. And that is when it happened. I opened my fanny pack to retrieve my phone and check out the time. As soon as I pulled out my Galaxy Note 9, I dropped it to the ground, sending it bouncing away on hard rocks. I refrained from panic as I caught up with it and discovered that my Ghostek Nautical 2 case saved the day once again!
